To get an idea, you can look at Canada's IXPs (Internet Exchange 
Points). Full list here: 
https://www.cira.ca/en/net-good/network-resilience/ixps/
And then on the respective IXPs webpage, you can look at the members/peers.

If your favourite ISP or cloud provider is not listed, you could 
encourage them to be. It's not that expensive I believe and it enables 
better local inter-connectivity,

Biggest ISP is, of course, Toronto: https://www.torix.ca/peers/
If you search carefully, you'll notice 1 of the big 4 Canadian ISPs is 
not present... 😉
