[OCLUG-Tech] SATA RAID Recommendations for Linux

I am in the process of buying a new file/e-mail/web server for my office 
and would like it have hardware SATA RAID.

The two controllers I am looking at are the LSI MegaRAID SATA 150-4 and 
the Adaptec 2420S.

I am more concerned about reliability and failover than sheer 
performance, and the card *must* be supported by at least the 2.6 
kernels.  That is, a card with only proprietary Linux drivers does not 
interest me.

Does anyone have any experience/recommendations?
