I'm away from Ottawa but have had this problem with a new HP 14" laptop. I had to install the rtw89 driver (actually to build it), and each time the kernel updates, I have to repeat this. It isn't difficult, but it is a bit daunting for novices. Maybe someone else can join in on this, as I"m on the road.
