update:
4k desktop was fine recording to a file. ("fine == 75% cpu")
4k video recording dropped the framerate to under 30fps.
1080p was buttery, even while recording youtube videos.
all software, x264.
obs used all cores.
I don't stream so I can't test output to service like that, but I can't image why it would be more than streaming to a file since the cpu transcodes for both.
didn't try hardware. I have nvidia, you want AMD so setup/requirements might be different, I don't know.
that was on a passmark of 8057, a Ryzen 5 3600 would get you ~17000, so double what I have and ~800$ less that Ryzen 9.
Forgot to check ram consumption.
