The dealer will need to use the computer's built-in WiFi receiver to
upload the patch, so you'll need to disable the WPA2 security and set it
to broadcast its SSID before taking it in.

And you may already be effected, to be able to spread the virus doesn't
do anything for a year besides infecting other cars. Then one year
after initial infection it monitors your speed and when you drive faster
than 65mph/110kph it completely wipes the car computer memory and the
engine dies so you get stranded wherever you happen to be with the only
fix being to replace the car computer.
To check if you are infected you need to contact your dealer and have
them to check your car computer for virus infections, they can then
remove the virus before it causes any more damage and that for the price
of a computer check instead of computer replacement.
