[OCLUG-Tech] Update: March Meeting: 2016-03-03

Due to an unforeseen commitment, we will not be having the IPv6 talk this month and the “panic” bugs is actually pandoc bugs. Auto-correct is not your friend.

Location: Woodroffe Campus, Algonquin College - Building T, Room T-303

This month we will be having at least three talks - scanning woes, pandoc bugs and free SSL certificates. As usual, there will be opportunity for questions as well as other topics after the talks.

Next month (April) will also have our AGM and board election. We need to get at least 20 people (or their proxies) registered for the meeting according to our corporation rules. There will be a signup sheet at the meeting so that we can prove we did this. More details will be provided in an additional mailing to the list shortly.

There will be a one hour pre-meeting item from 18:00 to 19:00 for people who are new to Linux, have general questions, or just wish to help out with people who are just getting started.

After the main talks, there will be the opportunity for a GPG key signing. This is a standard offering, just look for Scott after the talk and we can go from there. Bring your ID slips and some kind of ID if you expect a number of people to sign your key.

Note: We are always soliciting speakers for future meetings. If anyone wants to get up and cover a favourite project, solution, etc. feel free to contact the board with an outline.
