Yes, Postfix also saves to the sent folder. My experience is with postfix's vmail support, with Dovecot providing the IMAP. Both of these running on the mail server. But what you are trying to do?copy email sent through it using SMTP to the [Gmail]/Sent folder. Has anybody managed to do something similar with Postfix?
