[OCLUG-Tech] RHEL/Centos compatibility
Could it be the NIC giving you trouble? It would need to support
PXEboot. If so, you would just add a PCI NIC. But the onboard LAN should
work fine. Do you need to enable PXEboot in the BIOS?
I found it difficult to install Centos from USB key. But a DVD install
should work fine.

I bought a very nice Intel DZ87KLT-75K (Haswell-DT Z87 chipset) with
support for the Intel core i7-4770K processor and when I try to install
CentOS 6.5 (using the NetInstall iso), I get stonewalled: "This hardware
(or a combination therefore) is not supported by CentOS. For more
information on supported hardware, please refer to
http://www.centos.org/hardware" However, that link (and the subsequent
RH link) are much less than helpful.
