Can he not submit a .PDF with the .doc.

I had a talk with someone in the Educational Biz who wondered why the teacher is not using Google Docs first of all.

And second of all wondered why they are not using OpenOffice as that is the default package in the Ottawa schools, at least the last time my friend looked. I HOPE that Open Office and libre office don't have issues between them, (other than being unhappy with Oracle;) )

Perhaps the teacher is using Word at home?

PDF will create some small problem if the teacher is making notes in teh files as PDF is not somthing that word can edit.

The other suggestion I have heard is to try the Google DOcs file convert utility.
