[OCLUG-Tech] anyone out there a serious latex+beamer user?

a few weeks ago, i learned just enough about the latex "beamer"
package to put together my recent linuxcon talk, but i'd like to push
this a bit further and use more of beamer's more advanced features.
in particular, i'd like to formalize some sort of processing toolchain
where i can start using, i don't know, macros or shortcuts (if they
exist) to avoid having to type the same tex directives over and over.

is anyone out there using beamer heavily, and interested in an
actual paying gig giving me a hand with this? i don't see this being
more than a few hours worth of advising me but, as i said, i'm willing
to compensate whoever can give me a hand as i'm kind of swamped with
other stuff at the moment.
