You could also use the backports.org kernel: http://backports.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=instructions http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=linux-image&searchon=names§ion=all&suite=etch-backports backports has the advantage that you don't have to worry about dependancies on userspace packages from unstable/testing. -- sg
