I think UML is last year's technology. UML looks to sit between the
hardware virtualization tools (QEMU, Xen) and the operating system
virtualization tools (VServer) while offering the advantages of
neither. It suffers from the same performance found in XEN and QEMU,
and the same security issues found in VServers and openVZ.


Thanks for your reply. For the immediate future I will use QEMU with
kqemu. This will allow me to quickly migrate my Xen machines. In the
future I will also have another look at VServer. This little system
only has 512MB of ram which can be a little tight.
