Although this is not something I tried yet, I was curious to see if having two USB mouses under Linux could cause problems. It seems to cause problems under M$ Winblows. My main mouse is a wireless optical one, and yesterday night, the batteries were enough depleted that the pointer was erratic, until it froze. However, I'm on a USB switchbox, via a single connector. If I plug another mouse directly in the USB port of my Linux box, will this cause any problem ? I know it caused problems under Winblows. Once I had the second mouse connecter in the USB port, I installed one of the games I've been playing for years, and for the first time, I got an error message saying there was no sound board. Anybody tried this before ? JF
