Even for an LTS release of Ubuntu, I would try to stay away from it, unless
your apps and requirements absolutely need something that uses snap. Snap
is the way that Ubuntu wants to have everything and it was causing issues
on our server for linux-gatineau.org. Mint in that case actually
disables snap. I did not try LMDE yet, I'm waiting to see LMDE 7 which will
be based on the latest Debian (Trixie).
