Re: Looking for CoolerMaster HDD rails

It's not uncommon to 3d print a part for this type of bracket for older hard to order stuff.

The question is do you have a more specific meassurement or part number to go on.

Purely for fun, I dug up my spare drive brackets and found something similar, but there is no guarantee any of those will fit. I rember back in the day that there were differnet types for different bays or enclosures but some worked universally. I shall pm you link.

I'd hate to have to see you file down, or worse force fit a part that doesn't match. BTW, that's good national pride about using what already exists in Canada first.. but for $7.89 it shows your dedication in current times... :-)

Subject: [linux] Looking for CoolerMaster HDD rails

I need some extra CoolerMaster HDD rails - does anyone have any
extras lying around?

I inquired at RBComputing - they don't have any. They say they
don't need them any more and (sob) threw them out.
I don't buy from online sources, they do have them at Amazon,
NewEgg etc. But ... I'd rather not get them from those places.

Plan C is to somehow make something. But first, Plan B: ask
around.
