I, in fact, host all the actual domains myself on a static IP from BELL,
though most are just parked domains. But, on the other hand, my Canadian
registrar has my DNS info, and I not sure how closely aligned they are
with a USA registrar or service.
I think that is my primary question - going up the chain from my
internet provider, or from my registrar, how integrated or dependent are
they on USA service providers. I'd like to ensure as much as possible
that my email for example (IMAP at the provider) is actually hosted in
Canada, and can't be disabled at the flick of a US switch.
