Since it took me a while to find the fix, I'll mention that LibreOffice defaults to copying
Microsoft Windows "intuitive numerical sorting" of filenames.

Thus 197701File is placed AFTER 1977File and 1982File and not between them. We had a lot of
files we were arranging in a presentation (images) and had a "What's happened to our files?"
experience.

The fix is easy when you know where to look. Knowing where to look is what took the time and
lots of trying to figure out good search terms.

In any LibreOffice program, choose Tools / Options / General. Then, under
"Open/Save dialogs" check the box "Use LibreOffice dialogs" (there is no mention
of using Microsoft Windows dialogs, which may be the default).

Cheers, JN
