The NCIX price is probably not too awful. I can check on what we pay in Shenzhen buying the SATA version directly from Samsung’s distributor once Chinese New Year is over. I am pretty sure that it’s not a huge percentage cheaper than NCIX’s retail price. 

If you can wait for 6-9 months to install a 2nd SSD, the 1TB version should be out within 6 months or so. ;-)
