Re: [OCLUG-Tech] Re windows in a VM

My Win 7 VM seems to have "mostly" settled down. It appears that it
needs some time after virtual bootup to establish that the Win 7
instance is "activated". If I go to Control Panel -> System it is often
has status not known, then will change to activated. If I let the Win 7
VM sit for a while, updates get downloaded and installed. There were a
whole lot of them over a few days.

The system still seems sluggish, but it is working and usable, and beats
having to reboot just to use one or two apps that are awkward in Linux.
