Not too clear from that web page what provisions that unit has for
lighting. Years ago when I did Microfilming the document cameras had
two or 4 light sources at a 45 degree angle to the document to provide
even illumination without glare.
The other thought is that in order to make a good copy of a page,
typically 300 DPI is the minimum resolution that does not give too much
eyestrain. that works out to about 8.5 megapixels.
Looking at some profesional scanners, they seem to work at 600DPI

The unit you are showing seems to be aimed more at replacing the "opaque
Projector" rather then as a permanent storage media.
