really short notice, i realize, but in cleaning up my office, i'm
collecting all sorts of ... crap(?) that is eminently useful, but i
simply don't need, and i'm happy to bring it to oclug and folks are
welcome to take away what they can use.
i have boxes of things like network cables, and power cords, that
sort of thing. even some perfectly usable books. (side note: i have
a mint copy of stevens' and rago's "advanced programming in the unix
environment" (2nd ed, 2005)" and the only reason i'm willing to unload
it is that i just accepted the job of being a pre-pub reviewer on the
upcoming 3rd edition so i'm pretty sure i don't need this anymore.
i don't want to interfere with the AGM so this could be done after
all AGM business is finished. i'm just going to put together a box or
two of freebies and bring them along.
is there any objection to this?
rday
p.s. i may even bring some non-geek books people can pick through
before i take it all to a used book store.
