is there any interest in a small group focused on linux kernel programming that would want to meet on a regular or occasional basis in downtown ottawa and hash out selected areas of interest in kernel programming?

and just to be clear, i'm not trying to compete with OCLUG. this group would be far more informal and have a much stricter focus. so ... who's in? if enough people are interested, i'll check out what it would take to meet at the code factory.
I'm so old that I remember when OCLUG was just a small group of like-minded individuals who got together on a regular basis to discuss their new Operating System, and didn't have formal presentations or an "Executive", or a "Charter". It was a lot of fun.
I don't program the kernel (not nearly that bright), and I'm not in downtown, (I avoid it whenever possible), so I won't be part of it, but I _do_ hope your idea takes root and flourishes.
