as i slowly unpack from the move, i'm filling a box with assorted geeky stuff i'm more than happy to either give away or sell really cheap at an upcoming meeting, just to help me unclutter. case in point: i still have two remaining gateway MX7120 laptops: http://support.gateway.com/s/mobile/q106/shadow/1008832sp2.shtml i once had a dozen identical such units i used for a travelling classroom but they're not quite up to that kind of stress these days. i've been selling them off and have two left. they come with really nice samsonite travel bags, although one seems to be missing its power cord (probably hidden under piles of stuff still unpacked). i'd be willing to part with them for $100 apiece -- they'd be perfect for, say, getting one of the kids their own system. i can also bring a box of assorted cables and just give them to whoever's interested. i have a couple of older beagleboards in case anyone wants to get into embedded linux programming -- be happy to let those go for $50 apiece. and some books i can drag along. i hope this is not inappropriate for this forum; i figure there are people out there who could use some of this stuff, rather than having it sit at the back of my closet forever, unused and unloved. rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
