hi, my name's rob day, i suspect i might already know a few people
on this list. i've been based in kitchener-waterloo for the last
several years but, sometime this spring, i'll be moving to ottawa and
will be looking to continue linuxing.

from a while back, some folks might remember me from having written
an online introductory course in linux kernel programming here:

http://crashcourse.ca/introduction-linux-kernel-programming/introduction-linux-kernel-programming

(and, yes, while that's sort of marketing, a good chunk of that course
is freely available and shareable so have fun with what's there at
absolutely no charge. at some point, there will be more when i
finally get the time.)

while i'm still not sure what i'll be doing once i get to ottawa,
i'd like to continue doing professional, corporate training. i have
many years of instructional experience, having developed lots of
courseware and taught for people like red hat and sun and, more
recently, for protech training in toronto. so i'm definitely up for
any linux/OSS training opportunities in the ottawa area.

anyway, i'm on the list now so i'll be participating from now on.
