[OCLUG-Tech] silly DNS question? http://www.adox.de/

Not really a linux question but I don't know who to ask.
I am connected with DSL from the NCF folks.

I want to view a site --> http://www.adox.de/

The browser says no such host. so I try

cmacd@linux:~> host www.adox.de
Host www.adox.de not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

BUT Netcraft says:

Site	http://www.adox.de Last reboot	unknown Uptime graph
Domain	adox.de Netblock owner	1&1 Internet AG
IP address	217.160.28.134 Site rank	unknown
Country DE Nameserver	ns9.schlundtech.de
Date first seen	July 1999 DNS admin	webmasterr [ at ] fotoimpex [ dot ] de
Domain Registry	unknown Reverse DNS	p15196083.pureserver.info
Organisation	unknown Nameserver Organisation	Schlund Technologies GmbH,
Regensburg, 93047, Germany

Playing with nslookup:

cmacd@linux:~> nslookup
> server ns9.schlundtech.de
Default server: ns9.schlundtech.de
Address: 62.116.129.129#53
> www.adox.de
Server: ns9.schlundtech.de
Address: 62.116.129.129#53

Name: www.adox.de
Address: 217.160.28.134
>

SO WHY can't I do a regualr lookup to the site. is it on a "funny" domain?

Naturaly the browser just gets a error page if it give it the IP address
