Trev, I have just recently installed Fedora and using virtual box, I was able to create a virtual partition for XP. The same can be done in reverse, install XP, virtual box and then create your Kubuntu virtual machine. You can have both running at the same time and toggle between them. You should have min 4gb ram and a decent hard drive. Not sure if this is what you were looking for. -----Original Message----- From: linux-bounces [ at ] lists [ dot ] oclug [ dot ] on [ dot ] ca [mailto:linux-bounces [ at ] lists [ dot ] oclug [ dot ] on [ dot ] ca] On Behalf Of Trev d Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2008 11:49 AM To: linux [ at ] lists [ dot ] oclug [ dot ] on [ dot ] ca Subject: [OCLUG-Tech] Linux list subscription This Email is to confirm interest in subscribing to a (likely Novice level) Linux list re. a question I have about installing and configuring a Linux distribution (likely Kubuntu) to co-operate on a Windows XP x86 PC. -- Regards, Trev _______________________________________________ Linux mailing list Linux [ at ] lists [ dot ] oclug [ dot ] on [ dot ] ca http://oclug.on.ca/mailman/listinfo/linux
