I recently tried to run "readcd -c2scan" on a system rescue cd after burning it from its .iso file. (systemrescuecd-x86-0.4.3.iso) which is used at boot up. readcd freaked out reporting an error every 50 sectors or so. I had to send it a kill signal as root to stop it. I gather "readcd -c2scan" doesn't work on boot CDs. Of course, if I did something dumb here, feel free to let me and everyone else know. Regards and hope this information is useful to some.
