THe Epson I have does make a scan, at 1200 DPI. what would the newer

Without a repro lens and a 10 megapixel or better camera, I suspect I
get better with teh scanner, but I don't know how to get past that
without everything trying to resample all the time. (giving antiallis
artifacts that blurr the writing)

the 1200 from the Scaner is just barly adiquate for the small writing.
