Some ISPs also relay for authenticated users from anywhere and support SSL/TLS. While I like my fetchmail + MTA + filters + IMAP + mutt + msmtp combo it is not for everyone. Mutt users should check out msmtp if they have secondary accounts (gmail) that they would like to use. -- sg
