I have a weird probelm with one of my servers.
The server has a RAID volume which is still functioning, but I had to
remove manually a failing SCSI disk because the controller was taking
its time declaring it "dead", even though it was clearly causing data
corrution.
Anyway, the controller now cannot rebuild the the parity data for some
reason. I have managed to rsync all the important data onto an IDE drive.
The system is stable but needs rebuilding.
Now, here's the tricky part: I need to find a Linux rescue CD that has a
Mylex 960 driver, so that I can just rsync all the data back to the
newly-created RAID volume. (Actually I don't *need* it but it would make
things easier)
