Sorry, this is actually assuming fetchmail uses a TCP connection to
deliver mail.  I'm still not sure what method it uses, since I
haven't used fetchmail in years.  If it just uses the
/usr/lib/sendmail binary, then all this is moot, and port 25 *never*
enters into the equation.
