Looks like I'm going to bow out for this evening. I'm driving the E450 bucket truck, the Queensway is fubar, plus I'm sweaty and tired having been on the road since 6am. In other news, the CRTC issued Telecom Regulatory Policy 2024-180 this morning as a result of the 2023-56 proceeding. Wholesale access (including aggregated) is now essential again. There are some good things (incumbents and their affiliates can't use wholesale services from other carriers within their territories), and some majorly bad things (new fibre built after today won't have mandated access until 2029, which is a total fuckup considering the amount of fibre being built due to AHSIP over the coming year). I still have to digest the whole decision looking for elements that are helpful. Until next month... -ben -- "Thought is the essence of where you are now." -- Manage your subscription: https://lists.linux-ottawa.org/sigs-l3go/listinfo.html
