Do you have a static IP? I find most reputable DNSBLs are willing to delist you if you have a static IP and can show that you aren't sending spam. I have been lucky enough that both of my IPv4s have not been blocklisted. One set of my IPv6s have been, and Spamhaus are stupid pig-heads and won't delist them. MSFT and Google both have reasonable Web sites for postmasters to request delisting of their IPs. There's unfortunately no magic; any DNSBL operator can decide to list you on a whim and if they're pig-headed, you can't do anything about it. Most large providers don't use such aggressive DNSBLs, however. > What can one do to stay off this blacklists that find one bad ip and > then blacklist the whole segment (or maybe even the AS)? Those DNSBLs are highly irresponsible. You just have to patiently educate people who use them about their irresponsibility. It's an uphill battle, but worth it for me... the percentage of people I can't email is very low... low enough for it not to matter to me. Regards, Dianne.
