Have you tried curl wttr.in/moon yet?
It reminds me of a terminal app I used back in the 1980's called phoon
that showed the current phas of the moon in the terminal. It has been
archived here and has a sample texttohtml output on the page at:
https://www.acme.com/software/phoon/
Also, since this sent me down the rabbit hole, there is an amazing
variant at: https://asciimoon.com/
