Eliminating US dominance from all aspect of Internet usage

As another "vector" of current control of Canadian internet usage, we 
need to eliminate usage of US-based search engines.

I suggest that there should be mass-migration to European search engines.

As a first suggestion, I will offer up *Qwant*

but there are many others.

However, when doing so, care must be taken that the site is not just 
"*fronting*" for Google, like some of the "green-funding" search sites.
