Sincerely, Katie To All: I have a brief presentation on Linux Advocacy for Digital Health related to my recent experience attempting Linux advocacy in Ontario's healthcare system. If anyone is interested, I could explore related policies/strategies such as "Digital First for Health". I feel Linux Advocacy is part of a larger discussion around digital literacy in healthcare. I recently attended another presentation on advocacy, completely unrelated to open source software (the presentation was on public dentistry), and they offered an excellent breakdown of "Advocacy" and "Lobbying", how they are different, how to get started, and why neither are bad words. I found this interesting and would like to explore this further. ________________________________ From: James <bjlockie [ at ] lockie [ dot ] ca> Sent: 29 July 2022 08:53 To: Jean-Francois Messier <jf [ at ] messier [ dot ] ca> Cc: Linux-Ottawa <linux [ at ] linux-ottawa [ dot ] org> Subject: Re: [linux] Meeting next week (August 4th) Attention : courriel externe | external email That sounds interesting. You can have as many ISO files on your USB key as the space permits. My presentation is currently in French, but I can easily take this and make an English version. The presentation lasts about 20-25 minutes, depending on the number of questions. Ventoy has improved since the last time I remember it was presented at Linux-Ottawa. Only about 30-60 minutes to translate the simple slides. > > If you think this is something that an audience would be interested, please let me know.
