On December 15th, 20th, and 22st, students from Algonquin College will again be participating in Linux Presentation Day in an event dubbed "Linuxmas". These are students in their first year of the Computer System Technician program in the School of Advanced Technology who are taking the "Linux II" course. Each student group (one to three students) has installed a different distribution, so we will have up to fifty distributions presented in total. While the students are not yet hardened sysadmins, each group should be quite familiar with their own distribution, and each group will have several laptops with the distribution installed/running. Visitors at any level of technical knowledge are welcome; further information on times and location is available at http://www.linuxpresentationday.com Yours, Rob Brandon Professor, Algonquin College
