Hi JF:

I would have added my vote with Spencer.  The PI would be your most cost
effective bet.  I've seen some very neat VESA mount solutions that allow
you to hide the pi behind the monitor.

As for your two display question........  I've read about a solution
allowing you to take two ethernet linked PI's and create a dual display.
