Hello, I'm a new Linux user, and I'm interested in going to your Annual General Meeting. Are guests allowed? Thought I'm a noobie at using Linux (I've been meaning to install it for years, but was concerned about hardware issue) I'm a big fan of Open Source software. Though there is a learning curve, I can say I'm very comfortable using Windows based IT systems and software, which have proven very helpful in my migration to Ubuntu. Could you please let me know to my query above? I would like to help in fulfilling your mandate of promoting "Linux in the Ottawa Area". As a President of an non-profit organization, as well as a Strategic Advisor for the government and former Project Manager, I think I can be an asset to your group. I look forward to your response.
