ouch. as i'm sure others will point out, the biggest(?) difference
is the packaging formats -- .deb for debian/ubuntu, and .rpm for red
hat/suse.
i don't think you should try to bluff your way around this. if they
specifically list rh/suse experience as a *requirement*, you would not
be serving them well by trying to fake your way around it.
