Following up on J-F's interesting presentation, I tried a Linux Mint live USB.This works fine. I also tried using usb-creator to make one that is persistent, but a test file saved in /home/mint is not being kept.
Anyone had any experience with perstistent live USB? Seems like a nice idea. This isn't life or death, but perhaps a nice topic for oclug wiki once sorted out. JN
