The POP3 has to be set for TLS (not SSL as their documentation states)
The stmp has to be set for SSL
Username is the email address
Password is as set during the install procedure
Authentication is simple username/password with no certs, and it is NOT
authenticated SMTP. I guess they assume that the encryption in place
via the TLS is enough.
Amazing that an ISP as large as Sympatico does not understand their
infrastructure well enough to know the difference between TLS and SSL.
