[OCLUG-Tech] Debian browser wierdness

Hey,

I've got an odd problem that comes up with one url, www.taigtools.com . When
I point programs like elinks, wget, mozilla, or konqueror at taigtools.com on
my debian laptop, debian desktop, or the remote debian server I'm ssh'ed
into, they timeout. On my zaurus pda, my wife's apple, or a second redhat
server I'm ssh'ed into, no problem.

What could the problem be? It took me a while to pin this much down.

The debian server is a recent debian server at vpslink.com, running
Linux version 2.6.8-022stab078.14-enterprise (root [ at ] kern268 [ dot ] build [ dot ] sw [ dot ] ru) (gcc
version 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)) #1 SMP Wed Jul 19 16:24:18
MSD 2006
and seems to be a fresh sarge install.

The debian desktop is running
Linux version 2.6.17 (root@Knoppix) (gcc version 4.0.4 20060507 (prerelease)
(Debian 4.0.3-3)) #4 SMP PREEMPT Wed May 10 13:53:45 CEST 2006
and is an unstable install off a recent knoppix disk.

The redhat server is
Linux version 2.4.29-grsec (root [ at ] chrome [ dot ] nocdirect [ dot ] com) (gcc version 2.96
20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-113)) #1 SMP Fri Feb 4 15:36:57 CST 2005

And the zaurus is running 2.6.15 .

Is it some debian anti-machinetool thing?
